Water Spray Pump Stations for Dust Control

For minimizing the production of coal dust (dust suppression) on longwall faces so-called water spray pump stations are used. High Pressure plunger pumps in the water spray stations supply the shearer water spray or the coal plow water spray and the cooling systems of the drive motors with the necessary pressure and volumetric flow rate.

The water spray systems for dust suppression comprise:

• EHP-3K high pressure pumps with electric motor
• A water tank
• A filter unit
• Hoses

If necessary, the pump stations can of course also be integrated into an existing supply line.
